The Role

Covetrus is a global animal health technology and services company dedicated to advancing the world of veterinary medicine. Provet is part of Covetrus as the premier leading veterinary distributor across Australia and New Zealand and brings a long history of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in customer service to our vet and veterinary practice clients.

We are currently recruiting the newly created role of Corporate Enterprise Account Manager (internally referred to as ‘Partner Account Manager’) within our Commercial team in Australia. In this national position, you will play a critical role in managing and growing strategic or national enterprise level partnerships with Covetrus’ largest corporate and enterprise veterinary customers. This will include utilising our customer offering across distribution, SaaS technology solutions, and training/consulting to drive revenue growth, improve commercial performance and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Engaging as the primary commercial contact for senior stakeholders and decision makers within corporate veterinary groups and enterprise accounts, maintaining relationships and ensuring customer objectives align with the Covetrus commercial strategy.
  • Delivery of detailed, data-driven account plans that support mutual growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand our service offering to key customers incorporating our range of pharmaceuticals, food/nutrition, consumables, equipment, instrumentation, SaaS technology solutions as well as training/consulting services.
  • Negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements including pricing structures, and setting performance service levels.
  • Utilisation of reporting and analytics to provide key insights (to internal stakeholders and external customers) into purchasing behaviour, compliance, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Acting as a customer advocate, ensuring that customer needs and feedback inform our business improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Cross functional coordination to ensure seamless customer support is delivered.

About You

To be successful you will have:

  • Qualifications in business, commerce, animal science or equivalent coupled with a demonstrated seven years’ experience working with large, corporate customers across key account management, enterprise sales, or commercial partnerships.
  • Varied industry experience that allows you to flex and adapt in order to showcase our diverse services across distribution, SaaS technology and training/consulting.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills combined with the ability to present to and influence executive level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting compelling stories using data to form insights for commercial decision making.
  • Proven track record in achieving exceptional sales growth within corporate and enterprise level accounts, utilising a consultative selling approach.
