We’re seeking an experienced Partner Product Marketing Manager with a strong cybersecurity background to help drive both renewals and new growth of ESG solutions from Carbon Black and Symantec. As the key point of contact for marketing and sales enablement for one or more Catalyst Partner franchises, the role is counted-on to make a significant impact in ESG’s new channel-centric go-to-market model.

Summary of Role

This role is a critical bridge between ESG’s marketing and product teams and our Catalyst Partners. You are the ambassador for our product portfolio, empowering these partners to sell effectively and build their own brand while aligning with ours. You act as a consultant, content creator, strategist, and facilitator, ensuring mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Marketing:
    You will be the liaison for Catalyst Partner sales and marketing teams with internal Product Marketing leads. (Technical Product Marketing, AR/PR, Social Media, Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, Product Management and other subject matter experts).  This may often require localization and/or adaptation of content to the needs of the Catalyst Partner’s franchise market and their brand requirements. You will also need to create new, market-tailored content, develop co-marketing initiatives that drive awareness and product adoption. 

  • Strategic Product Positioning:
    You will be the advocate for ESG products and guide Catalyst Partners as they execute their go-to-market strategy. You will provide advice and guidance on product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with enterprise security buyers and align with the market landscape. 

  • Catalyst Branding:
    The success of the Catalyst Partner model is predicated on their being recognized as a provider of added value. You will help them to develop their brand while maintaining the integrity and goodwill of the underlying Symantec and Carbon Black brands.  This will include coordination with ESG Social Media campaign and aiding the Catalyst Partners as they grow their cybersecurity brand awareness and strength.  

  • Market and Competitive Intelligence:
    You will collect and share internal and externally collected market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. As the Catalyst Partner interface to ESG CI and AR resources, you will need to proactively share non-public competitive assets as well as understand specific geographical needs to be addressed in QBRs and Annual Business Plans.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership:
    The Catalyst Partner’s success is your success. You will regularly meet with Catalyst Partner cross-functional teams to help with strategic planning and the execution of  successful GTM plans. On a regular basis you will meet with the teams to ensure ESG brand standards are met, provide expertise, obtain resources, and resolve issues.

  • Sales Enablement:
    You will work with the centralized Enablement, TPM and PMM team to equip the sales team with tools, training, and resources to effectively communicate the value of our security solutions. This includes the delivery of sales guides, presentations, and competitive battle cards; and may include Catalyst-branded versions of internal resources.

  • Performance Metrics:
    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing efforts and inform future strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of product marketing or related experience, with a strong focus on cybersecurity or enterprise technology.

    • Proven success in launching and marketing B2B enterprise security solutions.

    • In-depth knowledge of geographical cybersecurity markets and trends 

  • Industry Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including threat trends, compliance requirements, and enterprise security architectures (e.g., Zero Trust, Secure Access Service Edge).

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.

    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

    • Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives.

    • Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics.

  • Collaboration:

    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product management, sales, engineering, and marketing teams.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Broadcom’s cybersecurity solutions or equivalent enterprise-grade security products.

  • Experience working with global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
