About role:

Our Sydney office is looking for a highly committed Partner Relationship Manager, who thrives on business development to join our growing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to carve new business relationships and drive business sales, utilising your sales experience in expanding our partnerships within the unattended, ecommerce, EFTPOS and merchant service channels.

Position Attributes:

  • Highly motivated and ambitious sales professional with a strong focus on new business acquisition
  • High-energy self-starter with a proven drive to exceed OTE targets through new business growth and partnerships
  • Proven ability to generate opportunities independently through personal networks, market outreach, and proactive business development, supported by Windcave’s internal resources
  • Comfortable building a self-generated sales pipeline while leveraging marketing, partner, and internal referral channels
  • Commercially minded sales professional capable of acting as a technical liaison for product deployment and integration aligned with customers’ payment requirements
  • Strong interest in learning and developing expertise within the payments technology sector
  • Enthusiastic about representing a high-growth, market-leading organisation
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a strong motivation to achieve outstanding results

Role Requirements:

  • Dynamic personality with high energy and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate new product and solution offerings
  • Comfortable operating in a varied role, including:
    • New business development
    • Partner relationship management
    • Customer engagement
    • Providing first-line assistance when required
  • Proactive in developing new customer relationships, including face-to-face meetings and on-site engagement
  • Willingness to attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to promote Windcave and identify new opportunities
  • Comfortable with proactive outreach activities, including cold calling and targeted prospecting, as part of a broader business development strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player with a desire to contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Strong presentation skills with experience delivering solution-based sales presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  • Ability to clearly explain payments solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Awareness of the payments, retail, and technology landscape, including competitors and market trends
  • Understanding of merchant services providers highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced telesales, or business development roles preferred
