About The Role
Our broker network is the engine of Lendi Group. With 1,400+ brokers across the country, keeping them engaged, supported, and activated requires a partnership marketing function that’s exceptional at their craft.
This role leads a team of five who manage the full lifecycle of broker partnership marketing: inbound requests from across the network, event management and activation, local area marketing (LAM) support, co-op budget management, and partner campaigns. It’s a high-volume, high-stakes function — and it’s ripe for transformation.
We’re not looking for someone to run the existing playbook. We need a leader who will come in, diagnose what’s working and what isn’t, and build a smarter, faster, more automated version of this team. Someone who sees low-value, repetitive inbound requests as a systems problem to be solved — not a workload to be managed — and who has the AI capability to do something about it.
If you’ve led teams through genuine change, built or deployed AI agents in a real business context, and understand what partnership marketing looks like at scale — this is the role for you.
Job DescriptionExpect To:
- Team Leadership & Change Management
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of five partnership marketing specialists, setting clear direction, building capability, and holding the standard.
- Diagnose current workflows, identify inefficiency and duplication, and drive a structured transformation program across the team’s operating model.
- Build a high-performance team culture with clear ownership, strong systems, and a bias for continuous improvement.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex broker requests, partner issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
- AI Automation & Agentic Systems
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows to automate low-value, high-volume inbound requests, from triage and routing through to resolution and reporting.
- Build or commission agentic systems that handle routine tasks autonomously: request classification, asset generation, status updates, and standard reporting.
- Partner with our tech and data teams to integrate automation tooling into existing martech infrastructure.
- Broker Partnership Marketing
- Own the end-to-end partnership marketing strategy for Lendi Group’s broker network, spanning Aussie franchise and Lendi broker segments.
- Develop and execute broker-facing campaigns, co-marketing programs, and partner activation initiatives that drive network engagement and settlement growth.
- Build and maintain a scalable local area marketing (LAM) toolkit that brokers can deploy with minimal support - digital, social, print, and community activations.
- Lead broker marketing education, onboarding, and enablement across digital and in-person channels.
- Market & Performance Insights
- Stay across broker industry dynamics, competitive activity, and partner expectations to keep strategy sharp and relevant.
- Build reporting frameworks that give the business clear visibility over team performance, broker engagement, and partnership ROI.
- Use data to challenge assumptions and continuously raise the bar on what good looks like.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading and transforming marketing teams - not just managing but genuinely driving change in how a team operates.
- Demonstrated capability building or using AI and/or agentic systems in a real business context - you’ve shipped something.
- Strong local area marketing expertise - you know what it takes to activate at a local level across a large, distributed network.
- A track record of managing complex inbound workflows and designing smarter operating models to handle volume without sacrificing quality.
- Commercially sharp - every decision you make has a “so what” and a number attached to it.
- Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally - bridging brokers, partners, product, creative, and the broader growth team.
Nice to Haves (not deal breakers):
- Background in financial services, mortgage broking, or an adjacent sector - you understand the compliance environment and restrictions.
- Or, experience in affiliate marketing, large-scale partnership programs, or channel/network marketing - you’ve worked with big, distributed partner ecosystems before.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, AI, and marketing automation tooling in a B2B2C context.
- Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments where the playbook is still being written.
