Job Description
As a Trade Sales within Trade & Working Capital business, you will drive Trade Sales efforts for corporate and banking clients across the region. Your role will involve developing a strategic roadmap to achieve financial targets and enhance client experiences. You will collaborate closely with teams such as Global Corporate Bankers, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance, Tax, Credit, Implementations, Product, and Customer Service to meet client needs. You will lead client initiatives, taking ownership of impactful client interactions and engagements, in a dynamic environment where you can significantly influence our clients' businesses.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and own relationships for Trade Sales products with key clients, focusing on prospecting and deepening client engagement.
  • Develop and spearhead strategies to achieve business results, including revenue growth and new sales targets for Trade Finance products.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Bankers and other Lines of Business to develop business and cross-sell opportunities with clients.
  • Ensure full compliance with local market standards and firm-wide requirements in all business operations.
  • Drive the rollout of new products to achieve revenue growth and maximize market penetration.
  • Provide strategic input into product development, marketing, and other initiatives.
  • Identify solutions and programs to ensure J.P. Morgan Trade products/services meet client requirements and remain competitive.
  • Communicate client priorities effectively both locally and regionally within the Trade Finance business.
  • Maintain intensive client focus, identifying challenges and developing tailored solutions.
  • Identify potential issues and process inefficiencies, escalating them within the Risk and Control framework as needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Global Trade partners to deliver top-tier external materials and engagements, and represent J.P. Morgan's Global Trade capabilities at events.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 10 years working experience with trade products and managing clients
  • In depth knowledge of Traditional Trade and Structured Trade products - Supply Chain Finance, Export Credit Agency financing
  • Excellent written and strong presentation skills and strong analytical and execution skills
  • Experience in handling documentation and pricing negotiation
  • Experience in commercial, credit process, corporate and/or transactional banking
  • Experience in working in a matrix structure and with cross-border teams
  • Able to communicate and interact effectively with people at all levels
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently to deliver in a timely and accurate manner; strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record of results-oriented performance; building and influencing strategic relationships; ability to lead and influence others
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Dynamic and polished speaker with the ability to present complex material effectively to both large and small audiences. Experience speaking at Trade-related conferences is a plus, with a preference for candidates who have experience engaging with large local corporates.
