As the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be the driving force behind Pulse’s people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO and leading a talented P&C team, you’ll design and deliver innovative HR initiatives that empower our people and strengthen our culture.

You’ll play a pivotal role on the senior executive leadership team, guiding the organisation in all facets of the employee life cycle. This is a role for someone who loves both strategy and handson leadership someone who can see the big picture while facilitating the P&C team building the systems and relationships that bring it to life.

What we’re looking for:

You’re a confident, peoplecentred leader with a passion for building thriving workplaces. You will bring:

  • Previous leadership experience in a HR role, overseeing and motivating your team to deliver.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic capability.
  • A deep knowledge of best practice HR and ability to impact workplace culture. 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate decision making at all levels of the organisation.
  • A general understanding of payroll operations and legislation in Australia.

About the Team

With approx. 400 employees across retail, student engagement, hospitality, children’s services, sport and recreation and support functions support the deployment of the people agenda across our varied business units, whilst managing all HR related activities including organisational capability, leadership development, talent management, change management, workplace investigation and ER/IR relations.
