Reporting to Manager Reporting & Analytics, the P&C Analyst will provide high quality support in delivering key initiatives across the organisation, including the embedment of the AMP purpose & values. This role will also play a key role in conducting analysis, interpreting insights, reporting and delivering change support
This role is critical in delivering a seamless and engaging employee experience across AMP’s People Applications. With a strong focus on user-centred design and customer-centric thinking, the role supports the effective implementation, optimisation and ongoing improvement of people-related systems and processes.
It plays a key role in enabling strategic people initiatives by driving process efficiency, strengthening controls and delivering high-quality, accessible technology solutions. Through proactive stakeholder engagement and effective change management, the role supports smooth transitions, enhances service delivery, reduces operational complexity and ultimately improves employee outcomes.
How will you make an impact
- Strategy & Customer Experience: Support delivery of people strategy goals by adopting a customer‑centric approach, improving user experience, and promoting consistent, reusable design across platforms.
- Service & Operations Management: Manage Tier 2 requests, ensuring prioritisation, clear communication, and delivery against service levels, while maintaining system configuration in line with business needs.
- System Optimisation: Test, troubleshoot, and implement system changes to ensure functionality, reliability, and alignment to user requirements and process improvements.
- Process Improvement & Insights: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance service outcomes, controls, employee experience, and cost efficiency.
- Design, Documentation & Knowledge Content: Design and document People Applications processes, ensuring clarity and consistency, and maintain up-to-date, user-relevant content across TheHUB and Help Desk guides.
- Change & Delivery: Support change management activities and contribute to the delivery of small initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation of system and process updates.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with P&C, IT@AMP, Finance, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver outcomes.
What you will bring to the role
- Experience using HCM systems, with a preference for Oracle HCM.
- Proven experience in applying risk and controls management in a business environment.
- Experience documenting and designing People Technology processes to support clarity and consistency.
- Experience working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Experience supporting change management and maintaining user-relevant help content.
- Demonstrated experience delivering user-focused technology solutions, with a focus on usability, accessibility, findability and overall value.
Who you are
You bring strong technical expertise in People Technology, with in-depth knowledge of HCM systems, ideally Oracle HCM, and experience applying risk and controls in a business environment. You are confident designing and documenting processes that improve clarity and consistency, while supporting change management and maintaining user-relevant content. With a strong focus on user experience, you deliver accessible, usable and high-value technology solutions, and can clearly translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
You are naturally curious and solutions-focused, with a sharp ability to analyse issues, think critically and drive them through to resolution. You build trusted relationships through clear communication and a collaborative approach, engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Highly organised and outcome-driven, you balance competing priorities with ease, consistently delivering quality results within tight timeframes. You take pride in your attention to detail and bring a proactive, adaptable mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong focus on delivering meaningful outcomes.
