We have an opportunity for two People Operations Coordinators join Samsung Electronics Australia!

Role and Responsibilities

  •  Manage end-to-end onboarding, offboarding, probation and internal movements, flexible working arrangement requests and processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR system (Workday), onboarding platform (Enboarder), internal system (Knox Portal) and internal trackers
  • Draft letters of employment, variations to terms and conditions, confirmation of employment
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR queries from leaders and employees relating to policies and procedures, cyclical people programs, and systems navigation
  • Provide advice, guidance, support and coaching to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, guidelines, Fair Work Act, employment agreement, and employment legislation
  • Support the coordination of the monthly induction process, including scheduling and internal/external stakeholder coordination, participant engagement
  • Support the People Operations Lead with the maintenance of People Policies, procedures and practices to align with legislation changes and execution of corporate policies and guidelines

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a similar People Operations Administrator or Coordinator role within a global organisation
  • Evidence of being able to demonstrate the ability to interpret policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Proficiency with Workday, Employment Hero, and/or Cornerstone LMS is desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (data tracking, reporting, basic analysis) is desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

This role is based onsite 5 days per week at our Sydney Olympic Park office. While that structure keeps us connected, we do remain a flexible employer for life’s moments!

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
