Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused and experienced People Services Advisor to join our People & Culture team.

Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering a high-quality people services experience across the business. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide expert guidance on a broad range of People & Culture matters, support employee lifecycle processes, manage employee relations investigations and cases, and partner closely with leaders and team members to deliver effective outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining operational HR support with advisory responsibilities and is passionate about delivering exceptional stakeholder experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate and practical advice to leaders and team members on People & Culture policies, procedures, employment legislation and workplace matters.
  • Manage and support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes and workplace concerns.
  • Act as an escalation point for People Services Coordinators, providing coaching, guidance and technical expertise.
  • Deliver high-quality case management and maintain accurate records, documentation and employee data.
  • Partner with People & Culture Business Partners and specialist teams to support the resolution of complex employee matters.
  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, organisational changes and workforce administration activities.
  • Contribute to people-related projects, continuous improvement initiatives and the optimisation of People Services processes and systems.
  • Produce people reporting, workforce insights and data analysis to support informed decision-making and business outcomes.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys solving problems, building trusted relationships and providing practical people advice in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a People Services, HR Advisory, Employee Relations or Human Resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, procedures and people practices.
  • Experience managing workplace investigations, employee relations matters and performance management processes.
  • Strong organisational and case management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.
