Hastings Deering is seeking a People Services Administrator (known internally as an Advisor level) to join our friendly and supportive team at Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role where you’ll play an important part in providing day-to-day administration and support across our People and Culture function.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys administration, values attention to detail, and is looking to build a stable career in business and HR support.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide general administrative support across the People and Culture department, including preparing documents, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.

  • Respond to internal employee queries, escalating to the right People Services specialist when required.

  • Assist with the maintenance of employee data and HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Support the preparation of reports, letters, contracts, and other People Services documentation.

  • Help coordinate activities such as onboarding, inductions, and general employee lifecycle processes.

  • Maintain filing systems, templates, and registers to keep information organised and up to date.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver timely and professional service to the business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable with administration and data entry tasks.

  • A confident communicator with good customer service skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experienced in an administrative or office support role (HR exposure is an advantage but not essential).

  • Keen to build a career in administration and People Services.

A degree is not required for this role — what matters most is your willingness to learn, your reliability, and your ability to deliver accurate and timely support.
