About the Role

This position will work closely within the Advisory team, providing support to the Partner/s and team, and will provide any ad hoc support within the Advisory Service Line, as and when required.

The role will support three senior leaders within our Project & Infrastructure Advisory team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Active management of the Partner’s calendar, (mailbox – depending on the partners needs) schedule appointments, resolve conflicts and ensure that tasks are completed within the required timeframes.

  • Provide financial administration support to the team to enable efficient management of client work in progress (WIP), debtors, accounts for payment and the answering of any associated queries.

  • Manage the team’s compliance requirements in-line with the Firm’s Risk Management Policies including client onboarding, conflict checks, ASIC searches and client acceptance procedures.

  • Collaborate with the Clients & Markets team by preparing tenders for new client work, client presentations, client and/or networking events, maintenance of the CRM database and managing and actioning related reports.

  • Coordinate team initiatives including functions, scheduling meetings, recording minutes and actions, organising training sessions and employee movements.

  • Collaborate proactively with the People & Culture team on initiatives relevant to the team.

  • Book domestic and international travel for Partners and the team.

  • Assist Partners with administrative tasks including expenses, timesheets, internal reporting and any ad hoc requests.

  • Work closely with the Advisory Cohort to provide support and coverage where needed and work collectively as a team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the service line.

  • Work cohesively with all areas of the firm, including members of the Shared Services teams.

About You

Our successful candidate will need to be available to work full-time and willingness to be in our CBD office providing onsite support to our Partners.

  • Natural enthusiasm, approachable demeanour with a willingness and desire to help and support with all work-related matters and colleagues.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisation skills (both for self and team).

  • A strong team player, always willing to assist colleagues from all teams and levels.

  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (intermediate is acceptable for Excel).

  • Previous experience using Workday for invoicing/billings would be well regarded.
