Job Description

Join the Wollongong Private Hospital team as a Pharmacist and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services and optimizing patient outcomes.   • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and medication safety protocols
  • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, and storage requirements with empathy and clarity
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential contraindications using analytical and detail-oriented judgment
  • Manage inventory, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and professional standards

About You:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues
  • Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software and general computer literacy
