North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 336-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team on a permanent full-time basis. This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in a healthcare and retail environment. Previous experience in pharmacy is preferred but not essential.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
- Processing sales and handling transactions accurately
- Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily operations
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant work environment
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous pharmacy experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
