Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do
An exciting new Pharmacy Assistant position is available at Ramsay Pharmacy Westmead Private Hospital in NSW. This is a Permanent Fulltime position on a rotating roster which may rarely include weekend shifts.
As the Pharmacy Assistant, you will work closely with a qualified Pharmacist to prepare medicines, advise patients on medicinal and non-medicinal products, and assist with day-to-day pharmacy operations. You will be doing stock control in front of shop including ordering, receiving and catalogues.
We are a hybrid pharmacy site which serves retail and hospital both ends. You will be assisting in hospital ward imprest fill up when needed to cover imprest technician. You will be helping to prepare in-patient as well as discharge medications and deliver medications to ward patients. You’ll also receive ongoing support from our brilliant leaders, educators, systems support and marketing teams and access our diverse range of Ramsay employee benefits and discounts.
What you’ll bring
- Previous working experience in a pharmacy or retail setting.
- Certificate II in Community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
- You love working in a team and collaborating with others to deliver excellent care.
