The Project & Opportunity:

To support growth in the Wilton area, Sydney Water will stage the delivery of essential drinking water, recycled water and wastewater infrastructure services as part of the Wilton New Town project.

For this project, we are looking for a Planner to be responsible for producing program for the project management, design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of programmes and implementation of systems to monitor performance to date and tracking to key project milestones

  • Conduction of risk assessments on costing schedules to identify potential delays or disputes that may impact the programme

  • Development of cost schedule to forecast estimated cost of completion

  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including

  • Actively liaising with the construction team to provide regular programme updates

  • Supports site staff with planning and reporting responsibilities as required and directed by the Line Manager

Required Skills and Competencies

  • You will have a relevant tertiary education and considerable experience operating in a similar position on major infrastructure projects

  • Advanced communication skills and able to build effective & collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholder groups

  • An ability to problem-solve and come up with solutions whilst working in a team environment
