Manage Red Hat 7/8 environments and onboard API Gateway services in Apigee. Responsibilities include API key and developer management, firewall requests, static route implementation, platform maintenance, design documentation, Ansible script development, and end-to-end change management with MOP preparation and approvals.
Position: Platform Engineer
• Experienced with Red Hat 7/8 management, Ansible via CLI and Ansible Automation Platform
• Onboarding work for API Gateway Services including:
o participation in design workshops
o updating design documentation, design excel spreadsheets and wiki documents
o implementing onboarding in Apigee software
o API Key , developer app, developer creation + rotations
o Firewall requests creation and updates
o Change management process – creation of changes, MOPs and follow process to have them approved
o Ansible script development or improvements
o Implementing Static routes on Red Hat VM's
o Adhoc onboarding or platform maintenance activities.
