We’re looking for an Associate Client Director (ACD) to lead the strategy, delivery, and growth of integrated, B2B, corporate communications programs. This senior role is your chance to shape bold, data-driven campaigns for some of the world’s most impactful companies — and set the benchmark for innovation in Australia’s communications industry.
As an ACD, you’ll provide strategic counsel to senior clients, manage major accounts, and drive measurable impact across digital ecosystems. You’ll bring deep expertise in corporate strategy, inter-enterprise communications, and earned media, alongside strong commercial judgment and a track record of client leadership.

Responsibilities:
· Lead and grow senior client relationships across Edelman’s corporate spheres.
· Deliver high-quality, insight-driven campaigns on time and on budget.
· Provide integrated counsel across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
· Manage accounts, budgets, and forecasts with strong corporate oversight.
· Drive organic growth and support new business opportunities.
· Mentor and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
· Champion Edelman’s values while building networks across media and industry.
Skills and Attributes:
· At least 8+ years of relevant experience in communications marketing and/or related fields, with proven strength in two or more of the following highly desirable areas: crisis and issues management, corporate reputation, purpose and sustainability, public affairs, employee engagement, health, or financial communications.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills — active listening, cultural fluency, and the ability to ‘read the room’ with clients, creators, and colleagues.
· Confidence in corporate communications with excellent strategic ability
· Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and engage the right internal and external specialists for campaign needs.
· Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts and channels while maintaining high-quality delivery.
· Experienced people leader committed to developing and growing teams
· Expertise leading and growing large/global integrated clients
· Strong consultancy skills, including budget management and new business
· Forward-thinking and adaptable, with a passion for building trusted client relationships
· Openness to constructive feedback and commitment to continuous professional growth.
