Our Partnerships & Alliances group is growing and we are looking for a strong PreSales Engineer to support our Asia Pacific region from the monday.com office in Sydney. 

As an APAC Partnerships PreSales Engineer at monday, you’ll be responsible for presenting the monday.com platform in the best light to prospects and customers, evoking confidence and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle. You must have a strong desire to leverage your technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. As a core fundamental aspect of the role, you will play a critical role supporting and enabling our APAC partners during complex and strategic deals. We are looking at experienced individuals that would be able to establish the team’s methodologies and streamline our sales cycles processes including information security, RFPs and Tenders. You’ll be a strategic member of our team working closely with Partners, Sales and Product management and Customer Success


About The Role:

  • Understand the customer's needs, and establish monday.com platform as the best solution that solves the customer's challenges
  • Leverage deep product knowledge to lead the technical aspect in large and complex sales processes
  • Build and present customized demos, presentations and proposals
  • Support enabling partner's pre-sales capabilities and upskilling the partners generally on the technical aspects of monday.com
  • Work closely with our partners’ sales teams to help streamline monday's sales process
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural trainings and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  • Convey deep understanding of the customer's technology as it pertains to monday.com platform and integrating with them
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
  • Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in a Pre Sales Engineering role (or similar) in a SaaS environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience working with customers and partners in Asia
  • MEDDPICC sales methodologies experience
  • A deep technical curiosity for how IT systems work in a business context
  • Great communication and customer facing skills
  • Experience in up skilling of partner technical resources
  • Understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of GraphQL - an advantage
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience
  • Business process mapping skills
  • Experience responding to technical questions and security requirements from customers
  • Exceptional teamwork capabilities
