About the Role (your why)  

As our Presales Enterprise Architect, you’ll be involved with technical scoping and costing of solution engagements, working directly with our specialists and clients to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology. You’ll become fully immersed in the client’s technical environment so you can make the best recommendations and developing the future technology roadmap for the customer.

Our offices are based in Canberra, Brisbane and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! 

Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve a Baseline or NV1 security clearance.


What you’ll do   

In this role, you will be providing strategic advice and be involved with technical scoping and costing of solution engagements, working directly with our specialists and customers to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology. You’ll become fully immersed in the client’s technical environment so you can make the best recommendations.

A natural presenter, you’ll lead workshops and create technical documentation to ensure all parties are clear on the technology roadmap.

We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. 


What you’ll bring  

We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Solution Architect with extensive experience working in complex enterprise scale environments. You will have a broad technical Infrastructure background who has a strong knowledge of architecture frameworks. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive production relationships. You will have a consultative approach with the ability to influence senior management and project leaders.

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • A broad technical background in the infrastructure spectrum especially Wintel, VMware, AWS, Azure, Network and Security
  • Ability to providing strategic technical advice and solutions to customers
  • An understanding of the applicability of Architectural frameworks, with relevant certifications
  • Previous experience in developing and delivering enterprise solutions to Government clients including the development of future technical roadmaps and technical end of life plans
  • The leadership skills to mentor and upskill the team, and take charge of projects
