Join as our Pricing Manager and help transform and optimise Tyro’s Payments Pricing portfolio by applying analytics, commercial acumen, strategic thinking and modern tooling to deliver revenue and margin goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pricing, you’ll work closely with Growth, Product, Marketing and Engineering to design, test and implement pricing strategies, models and processes that scale.

What You'll Do:

Pricing Strategy Development:

  • Analyse market trends, competitive pricing, and customer behaviour to develop effective pricing strategies.

  • Create and maintain pricing models that align with business objectives and market conditions.

Pricing Implementation and Monitoring:

  • Support the implementation of new pricing frameworks and ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to execute and deliver on pricing related initiatives.

  • Monitor the impact of pricing changes and adjust strategies as needed based on performance and market feedback.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of transaction data, pricing data, sales performance, and financial metrics.

  • Ability to create predictive models describing consumer behaviour.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and executed.

  • Provide pricing support for new product launches and promotional activities.

  • Communicate the value proposition of the pricing strategy to key stakeholders

Market Research:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to inform pricing decisions.

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards affecting pricing strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, finance, business, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, pricing analysis, financial modelling utilising big data

  • Advanced skills in programming (Python, R, SQL), Snowflake, Excel, Access, or other data analysis tools preferred. Familiarity with Tableau or Alteryx is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to various stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
