At Qantas, we represent Australia to the world. Our diverse country is known for our spirit, mateship, and can-do attitude. We’re resilient and strong, and work hard to make sure we’ll be right.

Learning and Development is a high priority for the Qantas Group. A core focus of this role is the design, development and optimisation of Power BI dashboards, data models and reporting frameworks that transform learning, quality and performance data into actionable insights. Through analysis, reporting and performance measurement, the role identifies trends, opportunities and risks to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across Group L&D. The position also supports the governance, review, testing and enhancement of Learning Management System functionality to improve user experience, compliance outcomes and operational effectiveness.

What you will bring to the role

  • Advanced analytical capability, with expert-level Power BI skills and proven experience developing complex dashboards, data models, DAX measures, reporting frameworks and visualisations that drive performance measurement, trend analysis, executive reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Experience in Learning & Development, Quality, Digital Enablement or a similar function, with proven capability in process, system and governance frameworks.

  • Proven ability to analyse business requirements and translate stakeholder needs into practical system, process and reporting solutions, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication, consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Analytics, Learning & Development, Project Management, Quality, Human Resources or related discipline (desirable)
