The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Drainage Engineer with 15+ years of experience in the design and delivery of drainage systems for major road and rail infrastructure projects. This permanent role is based in our North Sydney office, offering the chance to lead complex projects and mentor a high-performing team.
As a senior technical leader, you will provide expert drainage advice, oversee design quality, and ensure compliance with Australian standards. You will play a key role in client engagement, project delivery, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead drainage design for major transport infrastructure projects.
Provide technical leadership and final review of design reports and documentation.
Manage project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and build trusted client relationships.
Contribute to winning new work and driving innovation across the business.
About You
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
15+ years’ experience in drainage engineering for transport infrastructure.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects and meet client requirements.
Strong knowledge of Australian Road Standards and drainage design software.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
