Your future team
As Principal Product Manager, you'll be part of the Enterprise & Monetisation team within Jira Service Management, reporting to the Head of Product for Enterprise Growth & Monetisation.
In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives across high-priority areas under the Enterprise & Monetization charter. Ideal for a strategic thinker, you will play a crucial role in integrating JSM into Atlassian's System of Work, ensuring our value proposition excites customers. The role will involve collaborating across a number of horizontal teams, as well as presenting and influencing executive leaders to shape strategies impacting the broader ITSM market
What you'll do

  • Your first assignment will be to ensure JSM is seamlessly integrated into Atlassian's System of Work. Define a compelling future value proposition for customers and a clear roadmap to achieve it.
  • Lead and execute both short and long-term projects across JSM, aligning with our Enterprise strategy. This includes defining our Extensibility play and other strategic initiatives.
  • Navigate areas of uncertainty and bring clarity to ambiguous situations. Utilize your conceptual thinking skills, crisp written communication, and business acumen to provide clear direction.
  • Disambiguate complex issues to aid decision-making and develop product strategies across multiple large teams. Consider technical execution, go-to-market tactics, and business opportunities over a multi-year horizon.
  • Present strategies and facilitate workshops to drive shared understanding and alignment across stakeholders at all levels of Atlassian.
  • Prioritize effectively to achieve high impact quickly, balancing user needs with business objectives. Clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.
  • Set the standard for product management excellence, embodying both the art and science of the discipline.


Your background

  • Strong Product Management background with experience in complex SaaS and/or Enterprise environments
  • Experience as a Principal Product Manager defining vision, weaving market and customer needs into tight written narratives and presentations, and working across your organisation to execute initiatives
  • You have an obsession for the customer, you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems
  • A track record of building relationships, influencing, and inspiring all levels of the organization whether it's your team, peers, or executives.
  • Experience building a compelling business case for new opportunities
  • A track record in using research and can analyse trends in data using it to show customer impact
