As a Project Manager, you will:
- Work on small to large scale projects that have a direct impact on different Capital One business lines and Enterprise Supplier Management
- Plan, design, manage and execute project plans
- Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met
- Identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed
- Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership
- Establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings and lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business outcomes
- Prepare and deliver effective communications regarding project status for both internal and LOB teams (via PowerPoint slides and/or meetings)
- Maintain key project documentation
- Recommend and implement process improvements
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Project Management, Change Management and Process Improvement
- Experience with acquisitions and divestitures
- Exhibit a proven track record of effective project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage a project
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders to manage, inform and influence outcomes
- Self-motivated, able to support and initiate change in periods of uncertainty and ambiguity
- Contribute positively to a value driven culture and actively participate in a strong teamwork environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong ability to work autonomously, managing his or her own time effectively with minimal supervision
- Highly organized with an ability to remain focused and flexible to an ever-changing environment
- Ability to take ownership and solve problems autonomously
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, Military experience OR
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Procure to Pay process experience
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
