Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects across all phases (planning, design, procurement, construction, handover)
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, ensuring successful commercial and project outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, including government agencies and contractors
  • Oversee contract management and procurement strategies (D&C, Alliance, PPP models)
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams, driving performance, collaboration, and safety
  • Ensure compliance with rail safety, regulatory, and governance requirements (including ONRSR and Australian standards)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects, with strong focus on rail and transit
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, complex programs (multi-million/billion-dollar projects)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian rail sector, delivery models, and contracts (D&C, Alliance, PPP)
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, leadership, and commercial/project controls
