About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our national team on a 6-month fixed term contract. Supporting a diverse client portfolio across federal, state and commercial sectors, you’ll drive procurement strategy, sourcing and supplier outcomes across multiple sites and service lines.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and client-side teams, this role will oversee end-to-end procurement activity while ensuring probity, compliance and measurable cost optimisation. This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who thrives on managing multiple procurement streams and building strong client partnerships.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia, with flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities including RFx, evaluation, negotiation and contract execution

  • Manage multiple client portfolios (ranging from private to government entities some with state or national footprints)

  • Conduct monthly pipeline meetings and develop procurement strategies aligned to client needs

  • Analyse spend data, market trends and benchmarking to drive cost efficiencies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

  • Facilitate tender evaluation processes and provide commercial recommendations

  • Ensure compliance with governance, probity and ethical sourcing requirements

  • Support ESG initiatives including supplier diversity and modern slavery considerations

  • Deliver reporting on procurement outcomes, spend and supplier performance

About you

  • 3–5+ years’ procurement or supply chain experience, ideally within building services or FM

  • Strong experience managing end-to-end procurement lifecycle

  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and stakeholders in complex environments

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of cost optimisation

  • Confident leading RFx processes, evaluations and supplier negotiations

  • Experience working with government or regulated environments is advantageous

  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with eTendering platforms and procurement systems
