Modibodi is a leader in innovative, protective, and sustainable apparel, dedicated to improving lives globally. Our mission is to create better lives for men and women through groundbreaking, supportive designs while building a business that drives positive social impact for both humanity and the environment.

About the Role:

As a Product Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of our product development engine, helping to turn big ideas into game‑changing products. From first sketch to final sample, you’ll keep everything moving - documents up to date, timelines on track, and communication flowing between designers, suppliers and internal teams.

Your work will help ensure our products are not only beautifully designed, but also high quality, sustainable and commercially strong. You’ll be joining a highly supportive, collaborative team that works closely across Product, Design, Planning and Supply Chain.

You’ll be backed by leaders who value development, encourage questions, and create space for you to grow your skills while contributing to meaningful, purpose‑driven work.

What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate and support the end‑to‑end product development process, keeping trackers, documentation and critical paths up to date.

  • Organise and prepare for fit sessions, update development documents and manage product‑related file systems.

  • Set up and maintain weekly WIP trackers and help run team check‑ins to keep everyone aligned.

  • Manage product costings with guidance from Senior Designers, ensuring they support margin targets.

  • Communicate with offshore suppliers on pricing, requirements and timelines, and support early‑stage negotiations.

  • Prepare and maintain tech packs, design sheets, sign‑off documents and development records.

  • Action fit, function and construction updates to ensure products are accurate and ready for real‑world wear.

  • Request, track and manage lab dips, strike‑offs and prototype samples in line with critical path deadlines.

  • Maintain organised materials libraries and manage SMS product distribution across the business.

  • Support compliance documentation and keep all certifications, such as Oeko‑Tex, up to date.

  • Look after the day‑to‑day organisation of the design room, including sample management, filing and workspace upkeep.

  • Provide administrative support across Design, Garment Tech and Production teams, including scheduling meetings and taking notes.

Who You Are:

You’re detail‑focused, organised and proactive, with a genuine interest in how products come to life. You like being the person who keeps things on track, solving problems, juggling timelines and making sure everyone has what they need to do their best work. You bring:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in apparel or consumer goods product development, design support or a similar administrative role.

  • Exposure to product development processes such as sampling, critical paths, tech packs and supplier communication.

  • Strong administrative skills, including documentation management, trackers, Excel and/or PLM systems.

  • An understanding of materials, trims and compliance or sustainability documentation.

  • Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with both internal teams and offshore suppliers.

  • The ability to prioritize, multitask and adapt quickly in a fast‑moving environment.

  • A process‑driven, reliable and self‑motivated approach to work.

  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.

You might also bring exposure to apparel or garment construction, basic knowledge of PLM tools, experience with offshore suppliers or growing Excel skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box. We’re here to support your development and help you grow into the role.
