A bit about the role

Your responsibilities will include simplifying complex problems into holistic solutions that consider both customer and business needs, planning and your stream of work, conducting user research and testing, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

 

Our Product Design team
The Luxury Escapes Product Design Team is a group of passionate experts who work closely together to craft exceptional experiences for our customers. We foster a highly collaborative environment, emphasising mutual support, continuous learning, and having fun throughout the journey.   

  • We start each day with brief stand-ups to get everyone up to speed on ongoing projects  
  • We host weekly Design Forums for designers to showcase their work and get feedback from the whole design team  
  • We engage in regular customer testing and share insights with the rest of the business  
  • We do monthly team retros to acknowledge successes and explore areas for improvement.   

 

What you'll do as part of the role

  • Seek to understand user needs, and business goals and translate them into user-friendly solutions. 
  • Generate wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes that will be tested, validated and iterated upon. 
  • Effectively and clearly communicate design ideas and solutions to stakeholders with the ability to take on feedback and build from it. 
  • Validate and enhance your designs iteratively by conducting customer testing. 

 

Qualifications

What we're looking for    

  • You bring experience in user-centred product design, with experience across the end-to-end design processes for complex digital products.  
  • You’re proficient in Figma, with excellent knowledge of prototyping  
  • You can work both independently and with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.  
  • You have an understanding of responsive design and an eye for detail is particularly important when providing detailed handovers to the engineering team. 
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling priorities to deliver on tight timelines.
