Business Banking (BB) supports Commonwealth Bank’s small to medium enterprise customers, mid-market corporate clients, and regional and agribusiness sectors by offering a broad range of financial services and solutions. It also serves personal and institutional online trading customers.
Business Lending (BL) is a product and specialised sales team that delivers working capital, business loans, asset finance, corporate finance, and property finance solutions. The team also manages Line 1 risk and controls for these products.
These roles sit within the Banker Assisted Lending Crew which is responsible for managing and improving lending processes across our business loan products, with a strong focus on automation, risk mitigation, and customer experience.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of product offerings through analysis and review, helping to shape compelling customer propositions that meet evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse the product marketplace, trends, and competitors, and report on key findings.
- Perform monthly control checks across various products.
- Review customer breakpoints and Voice of Customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and support proposition refinement.
- Support the rollout of product, process, regulatory, and policy changes in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal communications and training materials to enhance product knowledge and capability.
- Triage product-related enquiries, responding to and resolving straightforward queries as needed.
- Assist in managing operational risk incidents and issues related to the product, including executing control updates when required.
