Job Description

The Product Manager, Baggage CX supports the strategy and roadmap for Qantas' Baggage Products. This critical role is responsible for driving product development, innovation, and performance, ensuring the delivery of a seamless and exceptional customer experience while meeting commercial objectives.  

The Product Manager analyses market trends, identifies opportunities for innovation and helps to develop and deliver tactical and strategic product roadmaps to enhance the end-to-end baggage journey. With a strong CX focus, the role has full responsibility for designing and operationalising the ideal customer experience within the Qantas Product Operating Model. Customer insights and human-centred design principles underpin product enhancements to ensure relevance and satisfaction. The position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and senior leaders across the Qantas Group on product strategy, customer service design, and commercial decision-making.  

You’ll have – 

  • 10+ years’ experience in product management, customer experience (corporate), customer strategy or product development 
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, business or a related discipline 
  • Lead product strategy development and execution using customer insights, market research and commercial analysis 
  • Shape and manage a clear product roadmap aligned to customer needs and business objectives 
  • Apply human‑centred design, Jobs to be Done and Business Model Canvas methodologies to improve customer experiences 
  • Collaborate with complex internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and prioritise outcomes 
  • Use strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to inform decisions and optimise product performance
