Join Equifax as a Product Manager within our Sydney-based Fraud and Identity team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage our $3 billion cloud-native investment to shape the strategy and execution of our identity and fraud portfolio, enabling national-scale digital trust while modernising our platforms to solve the region's most pressing regulatory and security challenges.
You will join a high-velocity team focused on utilising our cloud-native Data Fabric to deliver market-leading identity solutions. This position sits at the intersection of product innovation and regulatory leadership during a period of significant national policy reform.
What you’ll do
- Market Opportunity Assessment: Drive market understanding through research into customer needs and identity trends to identify high-potential growth opportunities.
- Competitive Evaluation: Evaluate the competitive landscape to articulate opportunities for competitive advantage within the identity and fraud sector.
- Market Validation: Conduct testing of identity concepts with existing and prospective customers to validate product hypotheses and "Voice of Customer."
- Product Definition: Drive the identification of new opportunities and define requirements based on market needs, including "build, buy, or partner" decisions.
- Commercial Strategy: Facilitate the development of commercial models, packaging, and pricing to ensure the identity portfolio's success.
- Strategy & Planning: Communicate the product vision and develop business cases and roadmaps aligned with ANZ strategic priorities.
- Objective Tracking: Monitor attainment of identity-specific objectives through KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Delivery & Launch: Write precise requirements and collaborate with technical management to oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle.
- Growth & Portfolio Management: Track performance against revenue and margin targets to ensure the commercial success of your identity products.
- Lifecycle Decisions: Analyse data to drive key decisions, including product enhancements or the decommissioning of legacy identity services.
What experience you need
- 5+ years of product management experience within a product-led organization, ideally in Financial Services or Data & Analytics.
- Demonstrated experience leading a product roadmap and strategy for a high-visibility platform or ecosystem.
- Proven experience in writing detailed product requirements focusing on business value and ROI using tools like Aha, JIRA, or Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate efforts effectively within a matrixed corporate environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of delivering cloud-based products (SaaS) and cloud infrastructure models.
- Practical experience applying Design Thinking principles for innovation, including empathy mapping and prototyping.
- Experience utilizing Agile methodologies or formal project management frameworks to drive delivery.

- Direct professional exposure to Identity, Fraud, or KYC/AML solutions and their associated verification workflows.
- Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks such as the Digital ID Act 2024 or TDIF accreditation.
