The Opportunity


This is a 12 month maximum term contract opportunity.


The Product Manager, Cloud oversees the development and lifecycle of products within a product portfolio. In this role, you will define the vision and strategy for the product portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve features based on user feedback and market trends. Managed services are a fundamental pillar of what we do. It is the Product Manager’s responsibility to ensure the most valuable and effective products are available to customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Apply strategic thinking, customer, competitor and vendor insights to a product strategy and roadmap.
  • Follow a new product introduction process that ensures the commercial viability, best practice design, delivery, and deployment of products through to launch.
  • Communicate product strategy and positioning to internal and external audiences through written and verbal means.
  • Own the lifecycle of assigned products and strategic vendor/supplier relationships required to fulfil the demands of products and services in the product portfolio.
  • Achieve the best business and commercial outcomes through competitive negotiation and contract renewals.
  • Maintain the price book and associated product catalogue.
  • Supporting non-standard deal reviews to drive new business success.

Your ideal skills & experience

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in product management, managed hosting/private cloud, IaaS, or data centre technologies in any technical role. Engineering experience is a major benefit.
  • A minimum 2 years' experience taking products to market – product definition, business casing, designing, and releasing a product. Experience with / knowledge of two or more of the following infrastructure disciplines: IaaS network/security/ compute/storage.
  • Ability to develop commercial models and business cases to take products to market, thinking through revenue, profitability, value creation, and positioning.
