About the Role
As Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Brighte’s lending offerings across consumer and commercial lending, enabling affordability at the point of sale and beyond.
You’ll be responsible for evolving Brighte’s lending products in a way that keeps us market-leading in CER finance, innovating across product structure, pricing, risk design, and platform experience. You'll ensure our lending tools are easy to use for households and scalable for vendors, while also being compliant and future-ready for a changing regulatory environment.
This role is part of our core Platform team, working closely with Product, Risk, Engineering, Legal & Compliance, Credit, and frontline teams to deliver products that are fit for purpose, build trust, and accelerate CER adoption.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Brighte’s suite of lending products (BNPL, Green Loan, business lending, scheme-aligned products)
- Deeply understand our customer segments, regulatory context, credit risk levers, and commercial goals to shape finance products that balance customer value and business impact
- Collaborate with internal experts (Legal, Risk, Credit, etc.) to ensure compliance, product governance, and responsible lending practices are embedded from day one
- Work with Product, Engineering and Design to build lending journeys that are embedded, frictionless, and trusted both on Brighte-owned channels and through vendor and partner integrations
- Develop lending solutions that support scheme-aligned delivery) while building toward scalable, flexible finance modules
- Partner with other product managers to ensure our affordability engine supports broader platform goals — including quoting, install workflows, and lead conversion
- Own the lending roadmap end-to-end, aligning feature prioritisation to outcomes like deployment volumes, market share, and margin performance
- Balance short-term product releases (e.g. pricing updates, scheme delivery) with long-term capability building (e.g. real-time decisioning, new lending products)
- Collaborate with cross-functional squads and capability teams to deliver product outcomes in a predictable, transparent way
What You'll Bring
- Have 3-6 years experience of product management experience, ideally in finance, energy, or embedded lending environments
- You are passionate about designing products that enable a sustainable future, with a strong grasp of affordability drivers in the clean energy space
- Understand consumer credit, risk trade-offs, and compliance principles (even if you’re not from a banking background)
- Are pragmatic, commercially savvy, and data-informed, able to balance operational delivery with long-term platform thinking
- Have strong stakeholder instincts and can work cross-functionally across engineering, risk, legal, design, and go-to-market teams
- You're a self-starter with the ability to influence teams to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question and improve the experiences for users.
- You bring a deep desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to move with a sense of urgency, sensitivity and to give people space to offer suggestions.
What's in it for you?
- Flexible working arrangements to suit individual needs and a hybrid work model. Our office is designed for collaboration, creativity and balance between office engagement and remote flexibility. Our in-office days are Monday through Thursday (4 days), with Friday as a remote day.
- Free lunch! Yes, there is such a thing! Kickstart your week with our Monday Mingle meaning lunch on us and great company. From tacos, to sushi, to charcoal chicken, it's a delicious way to catch up, unwind and connect.
- Get social. We host a range of social activities at Brighte. A fan-favorite being our weekly Thursday social event, where you can catch up with colleagues over a drink, snack and a game of table tennis.
- We want our employees to share in Brighte’s success. You may be given an opportunity to join our Employee Share Option Plans (ESOP).

Fresh bread, protein bars, popcorn, fresh fruit, chocolate, soy crisps, cookies – you name it! - End-of-trip facilities. Cycle in to work, lock up your wheels and have a shower in our end-of-trip facilities, which come complete with towel service and hair dryers.
- Anniversary leave - your dedication at Brighte won’t go unnoticed. Enjoy an extra day to celebrate your work anniversary with us.
