Be part of something.

Global logistics is still heavily reliant on spreadsheets, emails, and fragmented legacy systems.

Yojee is modernising freight operations through connected, intelligent supply chain technology — but great logistics software only works when it reflects how freight actually moves in the real world.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who deeply understands freight forwarding operations and can translate complex workflows into scalable product solutions.

This is not a generic SaaS product role - it’s a role for someone who can bridge freight operations, process design, and technology.

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager with strong freight forwarding domain expertise and a passion for logistics technology.

You will work closely with engineers, customers and product leadership to translate complex freight workflows into scalable product capabilities.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can move comfortably between operational detail and strategic product conversations.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate real-world freight forwarding workflows into clear product requirements and scalable platform capabilities
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define, refine, and deliver high-quality product outcomes
  • Own and prioritise backlog items within your product domain
  • Write detailed epics, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria
  • Bridge the gap between operations teams and technology teams by translating “how it works on the floor” into structured product specifications
  • Validate user flows, data requirements, business logic, and configuration outcomes before development
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deeply understand operational pain points and identify improvement opportunities
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery ceremonies, and product discussions
  • Support product strategy conversations with operational insight and customer context

What You’ll Bring

Freight Forwarding Expertise

  • 7–10+ years within the freight forwarding ecosystem
  • Hands-on exposure across multiple areas such as operations, customs/compliance, quoting, or shipment execution
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end shipment workflows from booking through to final delivery
  • Familiarity with global trade workflows across regions such as AU, SEA, China, US, or Europe

Process & Technology Mindset

  • Experience with workflow configuration, implementations, SOP ownership, or process governance
  • Ability to document and structure complex operational workflows
  • Comfortable translating operational requirements into scalable product or system solutions
  • Strong interest in logistics technology and modernisation
  • Technically literate and comfortable working with engineers, APIs, integrations, and platform workflows

Ways of Working

  • Clear communicator who can explain freight processes to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Improvement-oriented and naturally curious about better ways of working
  • Comfortable contributing at both operational and strategic product levels
  • Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-moving environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience in logistics SaaS or freight technology
  • Exposure to TMS, customs, EDI/API, or supply chain platforms
  • Background in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Solutions Consulting
  • Experience across APAC freight markets

🌱 Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A Great Place to Work (Literally): Enjoy in-person collaboration 4 days per week in our Sydney CBD office in the heart of the city — close to great food, coffee, and transport.
  • Help modernise one of the world’s most operationally complex industries
  • Work with people who love logistics and technology
  • Shape products used across global supply chains
  • Turn deep freight knowledge into meaningful product impact
  • You’ll be part of a friendly, tight-knit APAC team
  • Our values are simple and human:

Be a good person | Do better today than yesterday | Find the joy in what you do.
