Job Description

As a Product Owner within the project delivery team, you will act as the key link between the client’s strategic objectives and the delivery team responsible for building and implementing solutions. Your role is to ensure that the right features are delivered at the right time, maximising value for end users and stakeholders.

You will work closely with business representatives, delivery teams, and broader project stakeholders to shape product direction, maintain a well‑prioritised backlog, and support effective Agile delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgement in prioritisation, and the ability to translate ideas and requirements into clear, actionable work for delivery teams in a complex, project‑based environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Product Owner or in a product delivery role within a complex or enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to develop, maintain, and prioritise a delivery‑ready backlog with clearly defined user stories
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence, manage expectations, and communicate progress effectively
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and practical experience supporting planning, refinement, and delivery ceremonies
  • Experience shaping or contributing to product vision, roadmaps, and delivery milestones aligned to broader objectives
  • Ability to define success criteria and ensure delivered features address genuine business or user needs
  • Hands‑on experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage delivery workflows and documentation
  • A pragmatic, outcome‑focused mindset suited to consulting or project‑based delivery environments
