Perpetual Wealth Management (PWM) is part of Perpetual Group, an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Following the announcement of an agreement for PWM to become a standalone business, preparation is underway for separation from Perpetual Group, while continuing to operate as usual and remaining focused on delivering great outcomes for clients and employees.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of Perpetual Wealth Management (PWM) as a Risk & Compliance Manager supporting the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager - Product & Fiduciary in all Risk & Compliance activities, with an initial focus on the fiduciary business, to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained and service is delivered.

About the role:

  • Implement & embed PWM’s Risk & Compliance Risk Management Framework and associated frameworks, programs, systems, tools and policies

  • Ensure PWM adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and all products comply with relevant financial regulations and standards

  • Identify, assess, and prioritise risks associated with PWM’s operations, products & services, regulatory and organisational change & develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and existing products and services, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies with a focus on the Product, Marketing and Fiduciary business units

About you:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Degree qualified in law, finance or business degree

  • 5+ financial services experience in compliance or legal roles with asset management experience essential, and experience with trusts and Fiduciary duties an advantage

  • Excellent communicator and relationship manager

  • Confident presenter in front of stakeholders

  • Proven ability to be results oriented and drive good stakeholder outcomes

  • Strategic Thinker

  • Desire and aptitude to deliver innovative solutions in the delivery of team strategy
