An exciting opportunity to be part of Perpetual Wealth Management as a Risk & Compliance Manager - Product focusing on supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance in all Risk & Compliance activities to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained and service is delivered.

About the role:

  • Implement & where appropriate develop PWM’s Risk & Compliance Risk Management Framework and relevant frameworks. programs, systems, tools and policies.

  • Ensure PWM adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and all products (managed investment schemes & superannuation) comply with relevant financial regulations and standards.

  • Conduct and document thorough regulatory analyses of new products and services and regulatory change/updates, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place before launch in conjunction with the product team.

  • Maintain and update the Modern Slavery Framework including that it ensures compliance with the relevant legislation.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritise risks associated with PWM’s operations and products & develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential impacts.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and existing products, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

About you:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Degree qualified in law, finance or business degree

  • 5+ financial services experience in compliance or legal roles with asset management experience essential

  • Excellent communicator and relationship manager

  • Confident presenter in front of senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to be results oriented and drive good stakeholder outcomes

  • Strategic Thinker

  • Desire and aptitude to deliver innovative solutions in the delivery of team strategy
