Job Description

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Product Specialist to join our Energy team and help shape the future of electric vehicle charging across Australia.

Working closely with the Product Manager EV, you'll support the development, optimisation and growth of the NRMA EV charging network. You'll use customer insights, network performance data and market trends to help shape product improvements, pricing strategies and new initiatives that enhance the charging experience for thousands of Australians.

This is a highly varied role that combines product management, customer insights, stakeholder engagement and commercial analysis. No two days will look the same. One day you may be reviewing customer feedback and identifying emerging trends, the next you'll be supporting a new product initiative, analysing utilisation data, or collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver improvements to our EV offering.

This full-time permanent role offers a hybrid work arrangement across our Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney CBD offices and working from home, as agreed and required for the role.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the development, enhancement and rollout of EV charging products, customer propositions, and digital experiences across the NRMA EV charging network.
  • Analyse customer feedback, charging network performance, and utilisation trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Support pricing analysis, competitor monitoring, and market research activities.
  • Assist in developing customer propositions, product strategies, and product improvements.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other business units to deliver product outcomes.
  • Support customer, business customer, and stakeholder enquiries relating to EV products and services.
  • Prepare reporting, insights, presentations, and recommendations for key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth, optimisation, and success of the NRMA EV charging network.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years' experience in a Product Specialist, Product Analyst, Product Coordinator or similar product-focused role supporting product development, product improvement or product strategy.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities while building strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Confidence working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Highly regarded:

  • Experience within EV charging, energy, mobility, automotive, telecommunications or related industries.
  • Exposure to software products, digital platforms, applications or customer-facing technology products.
  • Experience using reporting or data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
