About the role .
As our Potato Production & Materials Supply Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient production and supply across our ANZ network. Your focus will be on balancing customer needs, operational efficiencies, and raw material availability through smart scheduling, supply planning, and material control.
This role can be based in either the Ballarat site (preferred) or Smithton site.

About the role .
As our Potato Production & Materials Supply Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient production and supply across our ANZ network. Your focus will be on balancing customer needs, operational efficiencies, and raw material availability through smart scheduling, supply planning, and material control.
This role can be based in either the Ballarat site (preferred) or Smithton site.
What you'll be doing.
Scheduling
- Create and maintain flexible, achievable daily/hourly production schedules across ANZ sites.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise scheduling for customer demand and plant efficiency.
- Monitor schedule adherence, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product development (NPD) by scheduling initial production and setting up materials.
- Maintain accurate master data in SAP to reflect production and supply changes.
Supply & Material Planning
- Ensure raw materials are available to meet production needs on time and in full.
- Monitor inventory levels, minimise overstocks, and manage obsolete/redundant stock.
- Escalate and resolve issues with delayed or rejected materials to avoid production impact.
- Build strong supplier relationships and support regular supplier performance reviews.
- Continuously improve planning processes to reduce inventory holding costs.
Material Control
- Ensure availability and accuracy of bulk materials to support short-term production plans.
- Work closely with Quality and 3PL teams to align materials with production and customer standards.
- Regularly reconcile inventory records with 3PL data to maintain accuracy.
- Provide accurate reporting on material costs and inventory status.
- Maintain and improve materials control systems to support uninterrupted production.
