What you'll be doing.
- Develop and execute best ‑ in ‑ class, insight ‑ led shopper marketing strategies that elevate McCain's brand presence in retail.
- Champion consistent brand storytelling across all shopper touchpoints.
- Lead annual and monthly shopper marketing planning across major retailers and channels.
- Deliver omnichannel shopper programs that integrate media, digital, retail activation, and data ‑ driven decision making.
- Build strong partnerships across internal teams (Brand, Sales, Insights, Category) and external partners (agencies, retailers).
- Manage the ANZ shopper marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation and strong ROI.
- Track and evaluate campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Lead and inspire a small team, fostering creativity, accountability, and a strong results ‑ driven culture.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with significant experience in FMCG marketing, shopper marketing or trade activation.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian retail landscape.
- Agency -side expertise, with experience in integrated campaign planning & management, digital communication, and media strategy.
- Proven commercial acumen and comfort managing complex budgets.
- Strong creative judgement and the ability to bring compelling brand stories to life.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence cross ‑ functional teams.
