About CES
Accelerating the transition to a circular economy
We are proud to be an active contributor in the circular economy through container deposit schemes (10c refund for eligible drink containers). We help our scheme partners to recycle close to 10 million drink containers every day, diverting them from landfill into the circular economy.
Our technology and services enable the circular lifecycle of drink containers. We have a large in-house software engineering team using modern technology stacks to develop and support our products. As well as a suite of SaaS products, our range of business services includes accounting, payments, brand & marketing, materials trading, HR, customer service and support.
CES was formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Lion and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and has grown rapidly. We are headquartered in North Sydney, near public transport with beautiful harbour views. Our teams are passionate about our mission to ensure valuable materials are recycled and not wasted. We provide an inclusive culture, hybrid and flexible working and career development to bring the best out in our people.
Originally known as Container Exchange Services, we have rebranded to Circular Economy Systems to recognise our vision to be leaders in the transition to a circular economy.
About the role
You will play a critical role in taking ownership of a complex digital transformation. This is an opportunity to lead an ERP transformation program, modernising our core legacy systems into a scalable, secure and flexible ecosystem built on Microsoft and Azure technology.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end program plan, including scope, schedule, budget and resourcing across Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure integration, data migration and Power Platform workstreams.
Establish and run program governance, including steering committees, delivery cadence, reporting and decision‑making forums.
Act as the primary bridge between Technology, business owners, delivery partners and the Leadership Team to maintain alignment and momentum.
Own and maintain the RAID process (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies), proactively managing technical, data and organisational blockers through to resolution.
Drive delivery across each release, including backlog and scope control, environment readiness, SIT/UAT coordination, cutover rehearsal, go‑live and hypercare.
Champion a product‑led approach, prioritising out‑of‑the‑box Microsoft capabilities and controlled configuration, with clear governance for any customisation to minimise technical debt.
Manage delivery partners and vendors (e.g. systems integrators and ISVs), including delivery plans, quality controls, commercial oversight and deliverables acceptance.
Partner with change, training and communications leads to drive readiness and adoption across impacted teams.
About you

Hands‑on experience managing data migration and legacy system decommissioning for ERP platforms.
Nice‑to‑have experience with Dynamics and ERP ISVs such as Binary Stream, SKSoft and/or North52, and modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake).

Comfortable working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models, adapting approach to program phase and risk profile.
Strong appreciation of the role of product, architecture, testing and change disciplines within large delivery programs.
Current or recent Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is well regarded.
Skills:
Microsoft Stack: Strong hands-on familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Dynamics 365 F&O and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
