Job Description
Our Partnership Managers are customer-obsessed, collaborate intensely with other key disciplines, and always make decisions with an eye towards Cash App's business as a whole. Successful Partner Managers are ambitious and resourceful - willing to go the extra mile to empower our teams, and deliver value to our customers. As the Programmatic Partnerships Manager in ANZ, you will be responsible for leading and growing programmatic relationships with some of the team's highest priority merchants, ad agencies and holding companies to ensure that we account for and meet their objectives with our suite of ad tech solutions. We're hiring a Partnerships Manager to join the Commerce team, supporting our ANZ ads business. We have developed a robust onsite advertising business on Afterpay and now we're looking to build the next generation of our advertising business that will connect our merchants and customers more deeply off-platform.
In this role, you will:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with our ad tech partners, especially DSPs and their sales teams, and the programmatic teams at agencies, holding companies, and clients in ANZ
  • Drive agency and advertiser relationships in partnership with our affiliate sales team to ensure we are maximizing our opportunity with each client
  • Successfully ideate on and develop media and campaign strategies, as well as advise on structure of programmatic and/or digital media campaigns across various digital channels (i.e. display, native, video, audio, etc.) in order to meet or exceed client KPIs
  • Lead recommendation of budget optimization across programmatic and digital media placements to deliver positive return on marketing spend
  • Contribute to the development and test of new audience segments (i.e. retargeting, lookalikes, custom audiences, etc.), ensuring documented results


You Have:

  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment, supporting new products/businesses
  • Creatively problem-solve and drive cross-team collaboration and knowledge gathering to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction
  • Be part of the Ad Operations and Partnerships team
  • Have a passion for programmatic, retail media, and navigating an increasingly complex advertising landscape
  • Support the creation of client business reviews, RFPs, RFIs and be the go-to person for all things programmatic for internal stakeholders and our external partners and clients in ANZ
  • Work with our business operations, finance, partnerships and sales teams to surface new insights and opportunities for the business
  • Comfortable going between being an independent business driver and supportive team player
  • 7+ years of partnerships or sales experience within a buy-side ad tech company, working directly with brands and ad agencies to drive monetization of programmatic solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising agency landscape, Demand Side Platforms and identity resolution tech Experience with, and understanding of, omnichannel advertising ecosystem and the ad tech landscape that helps to power it
  • Hands-on keyboard executional experience in at least one DSP platform Comprehensive in-platform knowledge of programmatic buying, audience creation, campaign management and in-dash optimization techniques
  • Strong understanding of 3rd party tracking, serving, and attribution technologies
