We have an exciting 6-month contract opportunity for a Project & Procurement Officer to join our SI&CS team. In this role, you will support capital works and special facilities management projects across the social housing portfolio. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will assist with procurement activities, subcontractor onboarding, compliance, systems management, and reporting, helping to deliver high-quality project outcomes and essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Drive contractor and supplier sourcing, engagement, onboarding, pricing updates and compliance tracking.

  • Activate and maintain Service Delivery Partner records in WMS, including trade, region, rates and approved variations.

  • Maintain procurement databases and produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports on social procurement and partner numbers.

  • Provide timely procurement and operational updates to project teams, Service Delivery Partners and client representatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen data integrity, support cost efficiencies and maintain safety and quality requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Higher School Certificate or tertiary qualification.

  • Experience in purchasing, project support or a supply chain-related role.

  • Excellent organisation and administration skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confident stakeholder engagement and customer service.

  • Knowledge of procurement and financial systems such as Oracle or SAP, contract compliance processes and data-driven reporting; government or social infrastructure experience is advantageous.
