We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Coordinator to work across the organisation, delivering change created by workplace transformation projects that impact process, people, and systems.

Working within a defined operating structure, this role is responsible for performing day-to-day tasks associated with the provision of project management and project administration to support large Infrastructure programs.

About the role

  • Coordinate and plan all aspects of work related to project admin/support to ensure it delivers the outcomes necessary, to realise benefits as agreed by the project/program sponsors under the direction of project/program managers.

  • Proactively support and apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes, and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project within the agreed project timeframes.

  • Maintain the project repository/site and governance reporting requirements.

  • Support maintenance of work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans.

  • Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.

  • Assist/support in the project procurement process. 

Your background

  • 5+ years' experience in a project coordinator role within the IT function.

  • Extensive experience working in cross functional teams.

  • Strong exposure to large scale complex IT projects.

  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and working across multiple projects at one time.

  • Highly autonomous with a keen eye for details, reaching out for support as required.

  • Driven to perform and deliver great results.

Your team

You will be reporting to a Portfolio Assurance and Control Manager as part of a highly collaborative, diverse team with a great supportive culture. With many exciting projects on the go this position coordinates cross-functionally, working with Senior Program Managers, the program team, and their stakeholders.

This is a one-year Fixed Term Salaried Contract due to a secondment opportunity from within the team.
