As a Project Lead, you will support the Bank’s Project Manager working alongside the current Project Lead to plan, coordinate, and deliver the design, construction tender, and build activities with a team of external architects, services engineers, and other building consultants.

Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of the area, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes to meet the current and future needs of the Bank.
Key Objectives
Support the delivery of project outcomes by assisting with planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
Apply established project management methods and tools to ensure tasks are delivered on time and within agreed parameters.
Maintain and update key project documentation including work plans, schedules, and resource trackers.
Assist in identifying and managing risks and issues, including logging, tracking, and supporting the implementation of mitigation actions.
Support change control processes and help track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
Help coordinate and follow up on project team actions, meetings, and communications.
Maintain and update a project risk register.
Support contract administration tasks, including document handling, monitoring of deliverables, managing variations, and maintaining confidentiality protocols for consultants, early construction procurements, and the head building contractor.
Planning, preparing and organising workshops with stakeholders and external parties.
Assist with stakeholder communications and engagement activities as directed.
Provide coverage and backfill support for the existing Project Lead or Project Manager during periods of leave, under guidance and with appropriate supervision.
Technical Capabilities
Experience in working as a project administrator on construction projects.
Experience in contract administration tasks for consultants and head building contractors on construction projects.
Experience in design documentation reviews, responding to requests for information and facilitating variation reviews and approvals.
Knowledge of procurement processes and experience supporting contract or vendor administration.
Ability to follow structured procedures and adapt templates based on lessons learned.
Experience preparing or supporting development of funding documentation, reports, or project updates.
Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
Some exposure to or understanding of change management principles and how changes may impact teams and operations.
Ability to gather cost or schedule information and flag potential issues for escalation.
Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to follow up proactively.
Strong skills in logging, updating, and tracking project information using tools such as Excel, SharePoint, or project management systems.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver on multiple tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
PRINCE2 Foundation or similar project coordination certification desirable.
Prior experience working in a project or administrative support role on construction projects within government or infrastructure environments is an advantage.
