THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting into the Senior Director, Integrated Supply Chain, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our ANZ MedTech Integrated Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will lead the successful delivery of the ANZ DePuy Synthes separation from J&J MedTech ANZ. As the central project integrator across multiple stakeholders within J&J and DePuy Synthes, the Project Manager will be responsible for end‑to‑end project governance including reporting, scheduling, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, planning, and oversight of vendor performance and scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate Steer-Co and Working Group meetings across ANZ, acting as the primary link into workstreams and the APAC team.
  • Direct complex, cross‑functional project workstreams involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the project management plan, integrated schedule, status reporting, and required PMO artefacts.
  • Track financial forecasts, reconcile project resourcing and expenditure, and support identification of stranded cost opportunities.
  • Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics, milestones, and outcome targets.
  • Build, lead, and coach project teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and operational checkpoints, ensuring timely resolution of high‑priority items.
  • Ensure adherence to J&J project methodology, governance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, representing the project across governance forums and inter‑departmental meetings.
  • Monitor progress against schedule and budget, ensuring all core requirements and business case outcomes are met.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • PMP certification; Agile certification or experience (preferred).
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
  • Strong ability to partner with senior stakeholders and resolve project issues.
  • Demonstrated success using structured, process‑driven project management approaches.
  • Expertise in project management principles, methodologies, tools, and documentation.
  • Experience in risk assessment, analysis, and mitigation planning.
  • Skilled in developing project budgets, forecasts, and resource scheduling.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly at all levels.
  • Highly effective facilitation, mediation, and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
