Job Description

AECOM’s Ports & Maritime team is continuing to grow in Brisbane, with a strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects across ports & maritime. As investment in trade and maritime infrastructure continues across ANZ, we’re looking for experienced Project Managers to help lead the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects.

You’ll join a collaborative and well-connected team working across port expansions, marine structures, waterfront developments and broader maritime infrastructure projects, supported by AECOM’s global network of technical specialists and project delivery experts. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping project outcomes, leading client relationships and driving delivery across some of the region’s most important maritime projects.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Lead the delivery of ports and maritime infrastructure projects from planning and design through to construction support and project completion
  • Manage project scope, programme, commercial performance and delivery outcomes across complex multidisciplinary projects
  • Act as the key interface between clients, contractors, stakeholders and internal design teams
  • Coordinate technical teams across ports, marine, structural, coastal and civil disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with port authorities, government agencies and private sector clients
  • Identify and manage project risks, interfaces and delivery challenges, providing proactive solutions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continued growth of AECOM’s Ports & Maritime capability in Melbourne and across ANZ

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive

  • Experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager or Senior Project Lead within ports, maritime or major infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of project delivery across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Experience working within D&C and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong commercial, programme and risk management capability
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and project teams
  • Passion for delivering infrastructure that supports trade, connectivity and long-term economic growth
