Our role:


The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver upgrade and improvement projects to customers' timelines and budgets, resulting in a fit-for-purpose solution that delights our customers. They follow proven methodologies to build customer confidence and ensure value-add to customer implementations.


This role reports to the Service Delivery Director and has people management responsibilities.

A day in your role:

  • Provide employee-focused leadership and actively drive strong employee engagement and a high-performing culture through the hiring, motivation and development of a diverse team.
  • Responsible for delivery of upgrade and improvement projects in accordance with the Objective Project Management Methodology, including adherence to the Objective methodology framework
  • Project planning, budget management, risk management, issue management, personnel management, client management, commercial issue management, and testing management.
  • Ensure long-term customer success across assigned customers and manage relationships between the project team and the customer to ensure the provision of successful solutions for customers.
  • Execute the assigned tasks within the prescribed framework, including all deliverables from scoping, analysis, configuration, prototyping, training, change management, and skills transfer.
  • Collaborate with objective teams and customer success manager to deliver outstanding service and outcomes for our customers.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in the “way we work at Objective” through contribution to ‘Best Practice’ via improvements in our methodology.

Your skills, experience and beyond:

  • Experienced in successfully managing solution implementation into a business for a software vendor/consulting firm.
  • Strong project management experience in formal project management and implementation methodologies and processes.
  • Strong consulting skills, with an excellent understanding of the end-to-end consulting process. 
  • Strong people leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Formal Project Management accreditation eg PRINCE2, PMBOK, is desirable.
