About the Role

At Antares, Project Managers don’t just run plans - they lead delivery.

This role sits at the centre of our client engagements. You are the person accountable for how projects are shaped, governed, delivered and closed, working across complex initiatives spanning Data & AI, Application Development and Modern Workplace.

From day one, you take ownership. You establish structure, bring clarity to ambiguity, align diverse stakeholders, and keep delivery moving when priorities shift and pressure exists. You will be trusted to make decisions, manage trade-offs, and represent Antares with confidence at the client table.

This is a role for experienced Project Managers who enjoy responsibility, value structure, and take pride in delivering outcomes that stand up to scrutiny.

As a Project Manager at Antares, you will:

• Lead projects end-to-end, from initiation through to formal closure
• Set up delivery frameworks including governance, RACI, stage gates and reporting
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, managing dependencies, sequencing and critical path
• Actively manage scope, risk, budget and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects
• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues, client concerns and delivery risk
• Facilitate clear, professional conversations with customers around scope boundaries, priorities and delivery decisions
• Coordinate delivery across technical consultants, senior consultants, practice leads and account teams
• Drive formal document reviews, customer signoffs and acceptance milestones
• Ensure projects close cleanly, with obligations met and outcomes clearly documented

You will be expected to apply judgement, stay in control of delivery, and communicate clearly when decisions or trade-offs are required.

This role suits Project Managers who are comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability. You will:

• Manage multiple projects at once, often across different delivery streams
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders who expect clarity, structure and confidence
• Balance pace with governance, quality and commercial outcomes
• Operate with support around you — but with ownership firmly in your hands
• Be measured on delivery outcomes, not just activity

This is not a coordination or reporting only role. Ownership is real, and expectations are clear.
About You

You are an experienced, client facing Project Manager with a strong delivery mindset and a structured approach to work. You will bring:

• Australian citizenship (police clearance will be requested upon offer)
• 5+ years’ experience delivering projects in a Microsoft aligned Professional Services environment
• Proven experience managing end-to-end projects valued at $400k+
• Strong planning and delivery control experience (Microsoft Project or equivalent)
• Experience in data and/or software development project management (beneficial)
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and leading delivery conversations
• A detail oriented, process driven approach with a clear understanding of governance
• The ability to manage competing priorities and remain composed under pressure
• This is a fulltime role, with a hybrid working model requiring two days per week in the office.
