As the Project Partner you will provide deep technical expertise and leadership in the delivery of project management reporting, and financial system integrity and maintenance. Strengthen financial performance through timely reporting, in-depth analysis, and actionable insights, ensuring financial decisions align with the Bank’s objectives and strategic priorities.
About the role
Leadership:
Support the Manager of Project Finance to create an RBA open and dynamic values aligned culture, enabling an environment for high levels of employee engagement and achievement.
Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of Finance, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes.
Data Analytics and Reporting:
Provide deep expertise to the leaders and coaching team members to deliver accurate and timely reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual) and insights that support effective decisions to achieve the Bank’s strategic goals.
Performance Management:
Lead the development of key performance indicators, to measure financial and operational performance leading to actionable feedback to improve results.
Continuous improvement:
Lead and participate in the improvement of internal policies, reporting systems and processes, ensuring the integrity and suitability of information as well as compliance with legislative obligations.
Enable and recognise performance encouraging continuous improvement.
Risk Management:
Identify and manage risks effectively. Manage issues and opportunities, ensuring appropriate processes are in place.
Technology and Process Improvement:
Oversee the operational functionality and maintenance of the management reporting and planning systems. Leverage financial software and tools to streamline accounting processes.
Relationship Management:
Build strong internal and external relationships, influencing across Finance and the Bank to ensure effective delivery and alignment of data-driven initiatives.
About you
Experience establishing sustainable processes to measure and report financial performance.
Experience defining, developing, and delivering high quality reports to support effective decision making.
Experience analysing financial information to develop insights and effective advice.
Passion for and demonstrated track record in delivering continuous improvement.
Experience in representing Finance across the Bank or similar organisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead a project forecasting processes.
Demonstrated ability to develop key performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and reduce risks and issues.
Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and the status quo.
Demonstrated ability to understand Bank-wide (or similar organisation) and Finance policies and processes, and ability to influence others to adopt policies.
Demonstrated ability to execute strategic priorities
Expert understanding of management/project reporting principles.
Demonstrated knowledge of Finance planning systems and applications, key practices, standards, and legislation.
