Job Description

The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth

  • Drive the coordination and management of all resources across the bid lifecycle - ROI, tendering, interview preparation and debriefs to deliver high-quality, large and complex submissions.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and SMEs to translate complex technical offerings into clear value propositions, persuasive messaging and compelling tender, proposal and capability content.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight timeframes, applying exceptional time management, project planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Ensure all submissions reflect high editorial quality, client focus, commercial integrity and consistent alignment with AECOM brand and best-practice pursuit standards.
  • Collaboration across diverse teams, sharing knowledge, leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency, and supporting colleagues to elevate their pursuit and proposal capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in proposal or bid management roles, such as Proposal Specialist, Bid & Proposal Partner, Tender Specialist or Pursuit Partner.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple proposals and competing deadlines, supported by strong project management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Flexible, resilient and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
